Having a blog can be a real struggle. First, you have to think of something to write about, make the content fun and interesting, then pay attention to blog seo, build blog backlinks not to mention be active on social sites. Also, your blog’s theme and design is important. Every tiny detail can make a difference. After all, you are trying to impress people first, and then SE.
When I was a newbie (I still think I have a lot to learn though), I started only with a simple idea: to promote a guide on how to lose weight. I knew that those tips offered in the guide were very useful and that they would give results.
I used to have quite some serious issues with my weight, BUT I decided to take focus more on a healthy life style, and also the things I read in that guide on how to lose weight I still use today.
So, I just wanted to promote a product I believed in, hoping that other people will like it and make use of it. I honestly thought that it will be an easy job. Boy, was I wrong.
At the beginning I spent a lot of hours learning how to set up a new site (I knew nothing of HTML or CSS), learning what is WordPress and how to install it. That alone still seemed like one hell of a job.
Finally, after a week of struggling and working like a crazy person (there were days when I reached like 12 h), I finally had my blog ready. All pretty, with a nice theme, with content written from the heart.
I thought that my job is done, and that all that it takes is for people to come and visit my site. Again: boy, was I wrong. Days passed, even weeks, and nothing happened. No revenue, no new comments nothing.
There were no signs of activity on my new and fresh blog. Of course, I started wondering “what did I do wrong?”, and I began my search.
Later, I discovered that I didn’t know a thing about SEO, or building blog backlinks, so again, I had to study, study, study.
Before actually getting a successful blog (well, not on #1, but it was on #7), I spent a lot of time learning how internet marketing goes, and what it really means to have a successful blog.
Even now, I am still learning, since the online environment is changing constantly. You just have to keep up, and be informed. Listen to what others have to say, you never know, maybe they have a brilliant idea that can really help you too.
With that thought in mind I created BloggerBacklinks.Com also. I wanted to be a place where people interested in running a business online could find useful and valuable information. Hopefully that's what I am doing.
We all want our blog to be successful. Especially since we put so much effort into it. But not so many are willing to also prepare first. It's just like in any other business, you need to be qualified, in order to get good results.
That being said, I would like to introduce to you a course, which I personally like, called “Start a blog that matters”. Why do I like it so much? Because it offers great value to anyone interested in starting their own business online.
I am a big fan of courses that offer an overview on how to set up your site and make it rank good in SE. In this way you can get a better idea of what is going on in the market, and it really helps get a perspective. I wouldn’t know a bunch of things that I know now if I wouldn’t have followed such types of guides.
“Start a blog that matters” is a program designed by Cornett Barr, and it consists of a 90 day step-by-step plan on how to build your own successful blog.
If you follow this course, by the end of it you will have a better insight of how things work, and hopefully you will be more motivated to start your own online business.
“Start a blog that matters” has 13 weekly lessons, 8 hours of video tutorials AND 4 super bonuses which will definitely make you smile .
AND, to make things even sweeter, the developer of the program, Cornett Barr, will give you one-on-one lessons FREE, until your blog gets the success you want.
This is a real nice deal, considering that he usually charges around $300/h.
So what I am basically saying is that I consider “Start a blog that matters” a program that will really help you get a better idea of what this internet marketing mombo jumbo is all about.
It also works for those who are already familiar with internet marketing, since this course comes with fresh ideas that apply even after the Google updates.
I guess it is up to you how you choose to start your online business, but my advice is: study the market before venturing into it. This is the best way to make sure you will actually EARN money instead of losing them.
You can purchase your own copy of "Start a blog that matters" here. Good luck
